CISCUP 19 YEARS CHAMPIONSHIPS

The CISCUP committee are currently busy preparing for the 20th annual Columbus Indoor Soccer tournament, there are 16 teams that are also preparing for the tournament, and each team has the opportunity to be the champions of the 20th annual CISCUP.

Many teams strive hard to take that title every year but only one team can claim that tittle. If we look back the winners of the past 19 years you’ll see a pattern, but before we go in to details let’s look at the list of the winners for the past 18 years.

As you can see there is a pattern, and like any other sports tournament, over the years a rivalry was born between Ohio and Minnesota, and it keeps growing. for a while it was Ohio that led with the most wins in the tournament, until teams from Minnesota picked up their games and took 4 consecutive years 09, 10, 11, 12 and took over the record. on 2014 it was tie between Minnesota and Ohio with 5 championships each state, and in the last 4 years Minnesota has won 3 out 4 finals, and took the leads as the State with the most wins.
